November 2014 Windswept Gale Force to Tova "Flick" and her son, Tova's Jock of Buck Island "Buck" passed the therapy dog tests and are now certified with "Paws for Friendship". They will start their therapy dog visits at the Nantucket Cottage Hospital in December.

November 2013 'Nellie' (ADCH Tova's Highland Nell SACH, JCH-Silver, SM-Silver, TM) and Sidney Hoblit earned their USDAA Agility Dog Championship (ADCH) and Silver Snooker Championship at the Hog Dog trial in Millersville MD. Congratulations on an awesome achievement!
October 2013 Congratulations to 'Bing' (CH Tova's Mustang Sally) and Joyce Jaskula for achieving the CPE Agility Full House Championship in Bar Harbor ME. 'Bing' already had CPE championships in Jumpers and Snooker, and is closing in on her C-ATCH!

healthy versatile dog with character and seeing my ideas confirmed by
puppytesters and the officiel test from the Hulphondenschool: only 1 out
of 3 dogs is allowed to start this education."

July 2013 Claire Hartwell and 'Benny' (Stone House Speed of Light) earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate at Happy Go Lucky in Portland, OR. Benny is only 18 months old, and aced the tests. Way to go, Benny and Claire!!
May 2013 Sidney Hoblit and 'Bea' (CH Tova's Gotta Dance MAD,JCH.SAM) earned their USDAA Master Agility Dog (MAD) and Standard Agility Master (SAM) titles at the Artful Dodgers trial in Millersville, MD. Congratulations on an awesome accomplishment!
March 2013 Donna DeVoist and 'Cleo' (BISS BIF Wylde Windswept Island Girl) passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test with equanimity and flying colors, at the Finger Lakes Kennel Clu, in Ithaca, NY. Big congratulations to this versatile pair!
January 2013 Donna DeVoist and 'Cleo' (BISS BIF Wylde Windswept Island Girl CL2) finished their CPE Agility Level 2 Title, and earned several qualifying scores toward Level 3 (with placements!) at the Pawsitively Awesome CPE Agilty Trial in Freeville NY. Congratulations!
December 2012 Sidney Hoblit and 'Bea' (CH Tova's Gotta Dance, AAD, JCH, CL3) and 'Crystal' (CH Stone House When I Dream AAD, JM, CL3) both earned their CPE Agility Level 3 titles at the SuperPup CPE Agility Trial in Lewisberry PA, and both finished all requirements for competition at CPE NATIONALS in June. Betweent the 2 dogs: 8 classes, 8 Q's, 6 First Place ribbons, and 2 Second Place! Bea and Crystal are mother and daughter (and Bea's father is also a very successful Agility Champion). Talent runs in this family!
August 2012 At the New York State Fair 4-H competitions, Melissa LoPinto and 'Roxy' (Tova's First Light of Aurai) took First Place in Grooming and Handling, and Second Place in Cynology (a long test of dog related questions on everything from grooming to parasites). Claire Conklin with her sister Emily's 'Cricket' (CH Tova's Cricket Song of Ardmore Farm) won First Place in Cynology! And both girls/dogs were on the Tompkins County 4H Jr Tailwaggers Club Drill Team, which finished in SECOND place in the drill team competition. Their drill team performance may be seen at:

December 2011 Sidney Hoblit and LHW 'Crystal' (Stone House When I Dream AAD, JM) for finishing their CPE Agility Level 2 Title, and qualifying for CPE Nationals. Crystal's mother Bea is also qualified for CPE Nationals.

September 2011 Joyce Jaskula and 'Pip' (CH Tova's Pip Pip Tallyho!) and 'Bing' (CH Tova's Mustang Sally), who both took the Delta Society Therapy Dog Test and passed with the highest rating! Both dogs are already certified by Therapy Dog International, but the Delta Society has the reputation for having the most rigourous testing standards. Both dogs will now have the honor of wearing the Delta Society green vest and carrying their own photo ID while doing visitations.

May 2011 Jan Weatherford and Barb Odell's "Skye" (Longhaired Whippet/Spanish greyhound)
received a "Good Citizenship" award from the Mayor of Oxford, PA. for his work in the READ2ME program at the Oxford Library. It has been proven children not only are more interested in reading when the listener is a dog but their reading level improves. Skye, on the other hand, is very interested in the children because of the pets they give and the occasional treat. At times, Skye and a child are laying side by side, as the child reads, his hand draped over Skye's shoulder.Click here for a picture of Skye dressed up for his award.

January 2011 Pam Sleeper and her LHW's "Gambler" and "Cassi" (Tova's Gamblin' Man of Ardmore Farms & Tova's Casino Royale) for passing their ORT (Odor Recognition Test) in Canine Nosework. They are the very first Longhaired Whippets to take the test, and both passed on their first try with flying colors!
December 2010 Jan Weatherford and Barb Odell's "Skye" (Longhaired Whippet/Spanish greyhound) passed his final examination with KPets, a pet therapy group out of Lancaster, PA, and will also be certified in the READ program, working with children in schools and libraries who need help with reading. They are currently visiting the Oxford Public Library once a month, and a skilled nursing and assisted living complex weekly. Skye already has quite a collection of new friends who delight in his visits. Way to go Skye!!

October 2010 Sidney Hoblit's "Crystal" (Stone House When I Dream SJ) for earning a USDAA SJ (Starters Jumpers) title, and the first leg toward their Advanced Jumpers title. Crystal has 4 Q's in 4 jumpers classes in USDAA, and is 3/3 in CPE Agility. Six of the seven Q's have been first or second placements!
